The Glen Elder Housing Authority, overseas the local Fair Housing Assistance Program including the Glen Haven housing site which provides 8 units for 62 and older or disabled regardless of age. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
Our Housing Information
  • Units are unfurnished, one bedroom, stove and refrigerator.
  • Rent is based on 30% of one's adjusted income. 
  • A laundry room is on premise. 
  • Utility allowance

The facility is within close walking distance of the bank, library, Senior Center, and post office. Waconda Lake is just a half mile away.

Glen Haven Apartments has a community room, patio and garden area available for the community's use. The new community garden and patio were made possible by a grant from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation.
