​Opportunity to Purchase Flag Poles
...for placement at Glenwood Cemetery
American Legion, Post 143
We honor their service to home and country.
Glen Elder Legion post #143 is currently extending the flag poles into the new, north section at Glenwood Cemetery. 

The current poles were placed by #143; they were sold for “cost” to people who then dedicated them. 

  • Winkel Mfg made the one's already in place and will also construct the new ones. 
  • They will be 23 feet long (20 feet out of the ground) and will include the pulley, cap, and the plate for the dedication plate, rope cleat; they will be painted gray. 
  • Pole Cost will is $135.00 + $20 for Flag = $155.00 Total 
  • Initial desire is to place at least 4 poles, and more, as people purchase them. Poles will be put up in groups of 2
  • There is no time limit in placing your order.
