Modem Restrooms and Shower Buildings...are open in the Sioux, Kanza, and Cheyenne camping areas from April to October. The Kanza shower and the visitor center may be open during the winter and early spring, depending on the weather. Boat Ramps…in Kanza and Osage offer excellent lake access & courtesy docks. Marina Service…located about a half mile south of the Park office provides fuel, boat and slip rental, boating, fishing and camping supplies--open April 1st through October 31st. Utility Hookups…can be found in the Kanza and Cheyenne Campgrounds. These and other areas provide some year round access to frost-free hydrants, traits, vault toilets. Dump Stations…are provided for those with RVs, and can be found near the Park's East entrance, or just west of the Wichita camp area. Fish Cleaning Station…(east entrance) features a modern, handicap accessible, facility that will make your fish cleaning chore a snap. Cheyenne / Kanza Areas…have new concrete camp-pads with secure tied downs, water, and 50 amp electricity hookups.
Osage Area…sand volleyball courts, reservable group shelter and a swimming beach. Pawnee Overlook…provides shoreline fishing, wading, primitive camping, picnicking and an excellent view. Chautauqua Fishing Pond…offers easy fishing access for individuals with disabilities and children. This pond is stocked with trout in the winter.
