The ABC Learning Center (Child Care and Preschool) was established in August of 1990. It was originally named the Gingerbread House Child Care Center.

The purpose of ABC Learning Center is to service the families of Glen Elder and the surrounding communities by providing quality childcare for children ages 6 weeks old to 6 years old.

We are a licensed childcare facility with a maximum capacity of 23 children at any one time.

We provide children with a stimulating environment which includes: activities, nutritious breakfast, lunch and snack daily, safe playground facilities, and qualified employees…all to provide a positive, well-rounded education, emotional and physical experience for each child.

ABC Learning Center is contracted with SRS.

Please Inquire About Our RATES ABC Learning Center follows the guidelines and rules set by the Kansas State Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). All parents will be asked to complete the paperwork as required by CACFP upon their child’s admittance to ABC Learning Center.	ABC Learning Center Hours We are open Monday through Friday 7:30 A.M. – 5:30 P.M. All parents are asked to be considerate to the employees by observing these hours and by picking up your child or children promptly. A late penalty of $1.00 per minute will be charged for the children picked up after their designated pick up time. (It is requested that any parent that cannot make 5:30 P.M. closing time make other arrangements.)
